If you have plans in motion for 2020 to celebrate the nation’s voting rights centennial, terrific! If not, then March 8th is the day to start. We are in solidarity with International Women’s Day and millions of women like us throughout the world.

This is the day we mark on our calendars as a reminder of the importance of making sure 2020 doesn’t come and go without recognition.

There’s a web site for March 8th, and many activities and recognition planned.

Suffrage Wagon News Channel has been publishing since 2009. Back in 2009, there was little online about women’s activism and almost nothing about those women of all backgrounds who participated throughout the decades. For generations they smiled and dialed their phones, held meetings, signed petitions, marched in parades, and networked from dawn to dark. Some women went to jail and were force fed for the crime of demanding voting rights.

This web platform is a labor of love stretching over the past decade.
