Meredith Monk is a long-time supporter of the “Spirit of 1776″ suffrage wagon at the New York State Museum, as well as the book underway at SUNY Press (State University of NY) about Edna Kearns and her family as intergenerational activists—”An Unfinished Revolution: Edna Buckman Kearns and the Struggle for Women’s Rights” by Marguerite Kearns.
