We have made dramatic progress, but the social revolution necessary to slip over the top is still UNFINISHED.

Let’s look at the overall perspective and the context.

LET’S LOOK AT THE FACTS…

In case we haven’t noticed, US women are STILL second class citizens. We are and have been for a VERY long time. Yes, we have made dramatic gains. We have come a long way, baby. The social revolution, however, isn’t finished.

NEXT YEAR IS THE ANNIVERSARY OF THE US EQUAL RIGHTS AMENDMENT!

In 2023 American women will have been working 100 years to include equal rights for women in the US Constitution.

Wow. The United States is the laughing stock of the world. And do we care? Not enough. Some states have equal rights statutes in their state constitutions.
Many states do not. Equal protection under the law will be tested like never before.

THAT’S WHY AUGUST 26TH IS SO IMPORTANT

August 26th is Women’s Equality Day. It is the day we celebrate our accomplishments. And it’s a day to evaluate how far we have to go.

You don’t have to leave the house. But if you do, make sure that August 26th is high on your priority list. Don’t let 2023 pass without investing heavily in women’s rights.
