THE UPHILL TASK OF REMEMBERING INEZ MILHOLLAND
I collaborated with Bob Cooney, Jr. on spreading the word of Inez Milholland during 2016. We were co-chairs of the 100th anniversary of Milholland’s death sponsored by the National Women’s History Alliance. A US Congresswoman nominated Inez Milholland for a national citizens’ medal, although no citizens’ medals were granted by a US President in 2016.
