I’m telling my story in order to reverse a devaluation of certain types of experience, including long-term perspectives and histories and evaluation of certain trends where experience and wisdom is needed, but it’s bypassed or ignored.

I’m speaking now, directly, and creating new opportunities instead of repeating ineffective actions I’ve taken before. I’m tired of being stigmatized and discredited. I’m writing as a way to rid myself of an influence of an old love story. It’s serious, and it’s also ironic, amusing, and absurd.
