LOOKING BACK OVER THE SUFFRAGE RESEARCH AND ADVOCACY
When I am in the future, I’ congratulating myself for my future outcome where my body has been a priority in my goals. Maybe it has something to do with my priorities…drinking enough liquids to not be dehydrated. Consistently I have been last, not first. It’s not because my mind hasn’t been active. It has recognized these big-picture goals with limited follow-through.
THE IMPORTANCE OF MY FEET TO START WITH IN THE RESULTS
So I have started again with my feet. Just watching the exercises. I didn’t even do them and I could see results. I slowed down. I drank more water. I felt different, but the results are clear. More of the same—waking up in the middle of the night and more mouth dryness.
My feet are more than a platform. There’s the teacher staring at me and speaking. His eyes are intense. He is smiling, as if he is saying that I am no princess, not even a prince. My body isn’t included on a “to do” list, and the present-day teacher isn’t giving me a stamp of approval. I’m here to learn. And the results are immediate. No waiting with subtle results.
THE “SPIRIT OF 1776” IS A SUFFRAGE WAGON AND IT’S RELEVANT
I am here to catch up. Is it possible? I am thinking that it is relevant to fill the time spaces with long boots. Living in my body is fundamental. It is more than something outside myself. I have tried and the resulting experiences are evident. Role models are all around me. Walk in the morning. Exercise. Order me around. Others take credit for what is not possible. They act like they are in charge. I thought I would be rewarded with making pronouncements, knowing the past, and helping others. Sure. That’s the old system of individualization creeping in.
